Understanding our Uniqueness
We are well aware of the financial hardships of the present times and are sensitive to your feelings about finances. We are continuously striving to deliver the highest quality of dental care in the most affordable manner. That's why we structure our fees without fluff. They reflect actual time, materials and laboratory work required for treatment. And of course, we provide you with a complete estimate before we begin. Plus, we are skilled in working with insurance companies and are happy to help you work with yours to ensure that you receive the maximum possible coverage for your particular treatments. We offer third party financing and payment plans to ensure that you make the right decisions for the care of your dental needs and worry less of its costs.
Respect for Your Teeth
We believe that people should keep their own healthy teeth for their entire lifetime. And we're convinced that disease prevention is far more enjoyable, less costly, and more comfortable than disease treatment, for all concerned. That's why we subscribe to a program of preventive dental care, with the goal of helping you obtain and maintain a healthy mouth as quickly as possible.
Respect for Your Time
We realize that nobody likes to wait, and nobody likes to waste time. So we take care to set up an appointment schedule that we can keep in a timely manner. And we also make sure that we work efficiently during your appointment, so that you're not left sitting and twiddling your thumbs while we deal with someone else. To make an appointment during office hours call (469) 467-6162 or (972)727-7900.
Respect for Your Comfort
There's no getting around the fact that many people are anxious about dental appointments. We understand how important it is for you to be comfortable each time you visit our office, whether you're here for a quick check-up or a more lengthy procedure. We offer nitrous oxide and oral sedation, if needed. Just make us aware of your concerns and ask us for details.
Respect for Your Safety
Most people today are not only aware of, but also a bit intimidated by the need for excellent sterilization procedures. That's why we've established a state of the art sterilization program to ensure the safety of both patients and staff. This includes the heat sterilization of dental drills between patients and the broad use of disposable products and cross-contamination barriers. So don't hesitate to ask-we'll be glad to explain our detailed safety procedures prior to your visit so that you'll be entirely at ease with how we handle ourselves.
Respect for Emergencies
Last, but not least, we're well aware that dental emergencies require respect and immediate attention. That's why we promise to do what we can to handle your dental emergencies promptly-on the same day that you call the office, if at all possible.
Initial Oral Examination
Your first visit comprises of a detailed oral examination, which includes a visual examination, panoramic xrays that show your wisdom teeth and TMJ as well as the bone levels around your teeth. we also take digital xrays, and intra oral pictures in the mouth which has minimal radiation risks compared to film xrays. We use a state of the art scanner that helps detect early caries as well as oral cancer.
We evaluate the need for orthodontics specially for children at age 7 and up which is the standard by the American association of Orthodontics. A free consultation can be set up to discuss the orthodontic needs if required.
We check the health of your gums and decide which gum therapy and hygiene regimen would be best suited for your oral health. We discuss our diagnosis, and recommend a comprehensive treatment plan that would begin your process of attaining and maintaining optimal oral health.
Dental Implants
We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance. There are now various options for patients with all or few missing teeth, and they no longer have to wear removable partials or dentures. Hybrid dentures are less expensive than an implant for each tooth. The denture can be fixed on as few as four implants on each arch. They can also use their old dentures to convert them to fixed ones. An appointment can be made at either office for a free consultation.
Teeth Bleaching
Our state-of-the-art, in-office Zoom 2 teeth whitening system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1 hour. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.
Crowns and Veneers
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns or veneers (laminates) on the front teeth. For the posterior, we use porcelain fused to high noble metal which combines the aesthetics of tooth colored porcelain with the strength and endurance of high noble metal. in some cases all porcelain crowns can be done in the back teeth also, and if possible less invasive procedures like inlays and onlays can also be done.
Root Canal Therapy
Root canal therapy is a remarkable treatment with a very high rate of success, and involves removing the diseased tissue inside the tooth, halting the spread of infection and restoring the healthy portion of the tooth. A root-canaled tooth becomes fragile due to lack of blood supply and substantial removal of tooth structure. It is best to crown such a tooth as soon as possible to avoid its loss due to tooth fracture. In situations where the prognosis of the tooth is doubtful as all the decay has not been removed and the amount of healthy tooth structure can not be determined on the onset, it is best to start the crown procedure first and then get the root canal depending on the outcome of the removal of decay.
Periodontal Treatment
You need a standard cleaning at least twice a year if your teeth have minimal plaque and your gums are healthy. If the gums bleed on flossing and brushing, and there are deep pockets(spaces between gum and tooth where bacteria accumulates), or heavy stains and tartar buildup above and below your gums, you have periodontal disease and a regular cleaning can no longer be done. A periodontal treatment includes a full mouth debridement or periodontal scaling and root planing with possible localized antibiotic therapy. This appointment is then followed by a 3-4 month recall of periodontal maintenance procedure to maintain the health of the gums.
